Give Help

Ocean County is a great place to live, work and raise a family. However, when Superstorm Sandy hit our shores it had a devastating impact on our community. Superstorm Sandy was the 2nd largest natural catastrophe to hit the United States and the impacted area is projected to be five times the size of Hurricane Katrina. Ocean County was the most impacted County in the State with over 54,800 homes requesting FEMA assistance. As of May 1, 2013, more than 1,500 maximum grants of $31,900 were awarded by FEMA to NJ residents and of those, 1,060 have gone to Ocean County households.

The needs are great and the recovery efforts will be ongoing for many years. We can all play a critical role in rebuilding lives and properties in the wake of local disaster.

Please consider donating today, whether it be financially, in kind or goods/materials/food, or by volunteering your time to assist those in need. Your support to the recovery efforts of the Ocean County Long Term Recovery Group is greatly appreciated.
