Works to secure grants, donations and other resources for the Ocean County Long Term Recovery Group and coordinates with other entities to secure donations and funding. United Way of Ocean County is the designated fiscal agent while the OCLTRG pursues tax-exempt status with the Internal Revenue Service.
Recruits, supervises and trains support caseworkers to assist clients with disaster-caused recovery needs. Prepares and presents cases for consideration to the Ocean County Long Term Recovery Group for approval.
Coordinates spiritual and emotional support to victims affected by the disaster.
Manages donations made to the Ocean County Long Term Recovery Group.
Assists victims as a group to identify and advocate with policy makers to make changes so the response is more effective.
Promotes the work of the Ocean County Long Term Recovery Group to the public and offers educational opportunities.
Manages all staff, local and incoming, to assist and provides logistical support for incoming volunteer work teams.
