The Ocean County Long Term Recovery Group
The mission of the OCLTRG is to strengthen and streamline disaster coordination by sharing information, facilitating resident access to dispersal of funds, resources and other services, coordinating recovery efforts with Federal, State and local authorities and agencies, coordinating volunteer activities and resources, and jointly resolving cases with disaster recovery needs, in partnership with a network of nonprofits, the faith-based community, business, government and other community organizations. This mission is carried out by a dedicated team of volunteers and staff; that has to date, raised more than $7.1 million* from the philanthropic community to support the work of OCLTRG and assist the State’s rebuilding efforts.
The mission of the OCLTRG is to support households impacted by disaster to recover and rebuild. The OCLTRG provides case management, education, resources, and financial assistance to households struggling with recovery and rebuilding needs through its statewide community collaboration and “Unmet Needs Table”. This mission is carried out by a dedicated team of volunteers and staff; that has to date, raised more than $7.1 million from the philanthropic community to support the work of OCLTRG and assist the State’s rebuilding efforts.
